Senior Recruitment Consultant - Financial Services
Overview
Join a specialist Financial Services team focused on placing talented professionals into permanent and interim roles across banking, asset management, insurance, fintech and corporate finance. You will work with established clients and growing teams to deliver high quality accounting hires. This role is suited to an experienced recruitment consultant who is commercially minded, client focussed and motivated to grow revenue within a trusted brand.
Responsibilities
Manage full lifecycle recruitment for financial services roles: intake and role briefing, targeted sourcing, candidate screening, interview preparation, offer negotiation and onboarding.
Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, HR partners and finance professionals across banking, asset management, insurance and fintech accounts.
Engage in Business Development activities to build client base with new business generated by you.
Deliver an excellent candidate experience while managing multiple vacancies to agreed SLAs and commercial targets.
Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies including market mapping, database searches, social recruiting and networking.
Provide market insight and salary benchmarking to clients; advise on hiring strategy, market availability and role design.
Achieve and exceed individual billings and KPI targets, contributing to team revenue and client growth.
Coach and mentor junior consultants, share best practice and support a collaborative, high performance team culture.
Skills
What we’re looking for:
Proven recruitment experience, ideally within financial services, banking, investment management, insurance or fintech recruitment.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence hiring decisions at all levels.
Commercially driven with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding billing targets.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a confident approach to business development and client engagement.
Organised, resilient and able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience of using ATS/CRM systems, digital sourcing tools and comfortable with MS Office.
